Based in Greenwich, London, I discovered I had a talent for the visual world at the ripe old age of 50 and can often be found exploring the capital city with a camera in hand. Coming out from behind the camera feels slightly unnatural to me but I felt it was only right that I introduce myself a little so here I am.

Making the decision to become a Professional Photographer two years ago has given me a new lease of life and I love that no two days are the same. Although I specialise in both family and individual portraiture, I also make short documentaries, promotional films and online training videos, alongside photographing events within the city of London.

I am very proud that, despite such a competitive industry, my micro documentaries have been screened at The National Portrait Gallery, The Barbican, The Museum of London and other galleries and cinemas such as The Tate Modern. The fact my work gets such a good response from the community, encourages me to continue and I have become known for my dramatic black and white style which really adds atmosphere and panache.

My aim on any shoot, whether it be film or photography, is to capture the character of the individual; many of my urban and street photographs have an anonymous subject which really adds an element of mystery and raw emotion.
